Corpus (Body) Sanus (Health) Spa, LLC was born in 2011 in Silverthorne (Summit County), Colorado. It was a beautiful little local spa that served the residents and ski tourists of Summit County. The 2020 Covid pandemic provoked plenty of changes in the resort, and I moved Corpus Sanus to a smaller location. In 2022, my family experienced some very traumatic hardship, and I decided to move my family and Corpus Sanus into a new community - Lafayette, Colorado.
A little bit about myself: My name is Frauke Fiedler-Vaartjes (aka Frankie), and I was born in a French ski area called Vaison La Romain. Growing up in Germany, I earned degrees in economics and business. My parents' death at twenty-two prompted lifestyle changes, including becoming a fitness instructor and receiving nutritional training. A transformative year in the USA, particularly in Colorado, inspired me to continue my journey toward wellness.
After becoming a licensed massage therapist (2008) and aesthetician (2010), I opened Corpus Sanus Spa (2011). In 2015, I earned my EMT license but started questioning Western Medicine after observing the potential of less invasive measures and the impact of lifestyle on health.
A mountaineering accident sparked my interest in acupuncture, leading to a master's degree in Classical Five Elements Acupuncture; a life-changing journey I started in 2018 and finished in 2024 - I am currently endlessly preparing for board exams. Despite a personal growth-induced pause of two years, I am passionate about using massage therapy, aesthetics, and this amazing transformative medicine to enhance health and lives.
